I love music and I am making songs.
I love to create things and I try to create as much as possible.
Geometry Dash is where a lot of my creativity is shown.
I try my best to get good grades, but I only really care about being
able to do what I want creativity-wise.
I create designs and draw. Art is really fun.
The things that I like to draw the most are album covers
for my music. I actually create the album covers and song names
before making the actual song itself. I create them on my phone
and try to always make some sort of circular object in the middle
of my pieces each time. I don't have any particular reason as to why
I do that but I think that it adds stylistic originality.
I make my music on FLStudio Mobile, and I love to be creative with it
and not worry about what genre it is. I am still in the experimental
phase which is really fun for me because I get inspired by other artists
that I like and test things out in my music. I love to add effects and
white noise into the songs using the noise of my room and my voice.
I am not able to use actual instruments in my songs at the moment so
I just use synth on the app itself and recordings of random things.
I am done with two songs on my album, so I probably have nine
More songs to go before I am done with my first album.
I am inspired by electronic artists such as;
False Noise, Frums, Koraii, Hudson Lee,
Deadmau5, Silentroom, KNOWER, Camellia, Garlagan and many others.
These people mostly make energetic, fast-paced songs. I also love
phychedelic and 80s synthwave artists such as Home, 憂鬱 (Yu-Utsu),
John Hopkins, C418, Mr. Bill, Bonobo and many more.
The last music genres that I am absolutely addicted to is 80s synth rock
and funk. My dad used to blast Daft Punk and Journey in the car all the
time so it makes sense as to why I am addicted to them. Some 80's
bands that I love are Radiohead, Daft Punk, Phil Collins, Styx,
Journey, Anri, Queen, My Chemical Romance, Bee Gees, Led Zeppelin,
AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Enigma, Bon Jovi, and others.
The last main thing that I love to do on a daily basis is making
Geometry Dash levels. I enjoy creating something that seems fun to
play and has the ability to inflict seizures from all of the flashing
colors. For those who don't know what Geometry Dash is, Geometry
Dash is a rage game/platformer/sandbox/game-engine that gives you
the ability to choose between certain blocks and obstacles to jump
over and eight different gamemodes. These are the objects that are
commonly used for gameplay making in the game but there is another
section that is commonly used in the game. You can add objects that
the player can pass through and have different designs on them. Most
of these objects you can move and rotate freely, change their color,
put them on different layers so that the player can go under them,
some of them have different levels of opacity and some even have
animations. These blocks can be used for anything because of the
amount of customizability they have. The last group of objects, and
probably the most important class, is the triggers. These objects are
basically like Geometry Dash's code language and allow you to move
other objects when the level is playing, change the opacity at will,
change the color of every part of the level including the background
and floor, and it can even create loops for any of the functions just
listed. This game is the most fun and exciting thing I've ever done
because it allows me to be infinitely creative.
My first album, 'Rise of the Emerald Sun'.
One of my design practice levels that turned out really well which inspired me to make more.
Another design practice that I was messing around with rainbow and glitch effects. It looks better in full speed.
Making a flashy wave level turned trippy. I will probably make the drop look like a nine-circles level or something.
(if you don't know what a nine circles level is, just look up, 'Nine Circles Geometry Dash'.)
